Kenjgewin Teg invites community members to participate in shaping the direction of the organization for the next five-years!
The organization completed its current five-year strategic plan on March 31, 2021. Since the last plan, there have been many changes in the education sector, in the region, and within the organization. Kenjgewin Teg will be embarking on a new journey as one of the nine recognized Indigenous Institutes in the Province of Ontario. Legislation recognizes Indigenous Institutes as a unique and complementary pillar of Ontario’s post-secondary education and training system. The organization and its services to Northern Ontario community members will begin shifting to an adult learning environment. This shift signals that the organization is on the path forward toward creating and developing its own certificates, diplomas, and degrees.
We are seeking input from students, staff, Board of Directors, political leaders, community members, and external partners in an effort to guide the work ahead of Kenjgewin Teg. As a valued member of Kenjgewin Teg’s community network, you are invited to participate by completing an online survey.
The online survey is anonymous but if you choose to include your name and email address, you will be entered into a draw for one of three $100.00 gift cards.
Miigwech for considering investing the time to provide input and feedback. The online survey will be available until Monday, April 19, 2021.
