This summer, we invite you to join Experience Kenjgewin Teg Aambe!—a hands-on learning program designed for adult learners (18+) who want to earn a high school credit while exploring new skills.

Whether you’re returning to school or continuing your path toward an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, this free summer program offers a supportive way to build confidence, connect with community, and gain career-ready skills.

What You’ll Experience

You’ll take part in a wide variety of unique, hands-on learning experiences, including:

• Welding
• Anishinaabemowin
• Sewing
• Carpentry
• WHMIS Certification
• Problem Solving & Leadership Skills
• Cooking
• Hiking
• Canoeing
• 3D Printing
• Gardening
• First Aid / CPR
• Beading
• Safe Food Handlers Certification
• Other hands-on activities – To Be Announced!

Who Can Apply?

This program is FREE and open to anyone 18 years or older who is working toward or wants to earn their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

Location: Kenjgewin Teg, Main Campus, M’Chigeeng, ON, Mnidoo Mnising (Manitoulin Island)
Program Dates:

• June 27

• July 14–17, 21–24, 28–31

• August 5–7

Daily programming includes lunch. Transportation support may be available.
