Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC)

Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC)2025-04-01T14:21:14-04:00

As of May 3, 2024, Canada’s GED high school equivalency program has been replaced with the new Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC).

This new credential is available in English and French, to provide a high-quality, made-in-Canada education qualification.

The CAEC is for adults who do not have a high school diploma but need a credential to open new doors to educational, training, or employment opportunities. Ontario candidates who complete the CAEC will get an Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate. You can register for the CAEC through the TVO Independent Learning Centre (ILC) at www.ilc.org.

Kenjgewin Teg is pleased to partner with TVO as a CAEC test site location on campus. Testing will take place during Kenjgewin Teg’s regular hours of operation. For more information on CAEC, see the link below or contact us at the main campus.
