Kenjgewin Teg’s commitment to reduce our carbon footprint has introduced us to the PaperCut Mobility Print management system that keeps tracks of all print/copy expenses and limits students from using an excessive amount of paper.
By default, all of Kenjgewin Teg’s printers have been setup for Duplex (double-sided) prints and Monochrome (greyscale) prints. If you wish to print single-sided or in colour, please change these settings on your device for each print job.
Setup Your Own Device for Printing
Requirements:
1. Printing is only accessible to active registered students who have a valid Microsoft 365 account (i.e. Yours@KTStudent.ca).
2. Your device must be connected to one of our PUBLIC Wi-Fi networks.
Installation:
NOTE: Kenjgewin Teg’s devices already have this installed, no need to re-install.
1. Go to PaperCut Mobility Print Setup and follow the instructions on the screen to install your device’s client software.
2. When prompted by the PaperCut Mobility Print client software, please enter your Microsoft 365 login credentials. (i.e. Yours@KTStudent.ca)
How To Print:
1. Print your documents using the PaperCut Mobility Print app and use the Find-Me-Printing printer.
How To Release Prints, Make Copies, or Scan to Email:
1. Walk up to any of Kenjgewin Teg’s printers and login to the device using your Microsoft 365 account. Students may use their 6-digit custom code (sent to their email or by request) or swipe their student card (additional student card setup is needed – Refer to “How To associate your student card with your Microsoft 365 account” (below)) to login to the printer.
2. Once logged in, you may tap on “Print Release” (to release your print jobs), “Scan” (to scan to your own email address – you cannot scan to any other email addresses), or “Access Device” (to make photocopies and other functions).
How To associate your student card with your Microsoft 365 account:
This is a one-time process for each student card. If you receive a replacement student card, you will have to re-associate your new card with your Microsoft 365 account again.
1. Walk up to the Printer and tap your Student Card on the sensor (right-side of printer).
2. Select “Yes” to associate your Student Card.
3. Enter your Microsoft 365 email address and press “OK” (i.e. Yours@KTStudent.ca).
4. Enter your Microsoft 365 password (case-sensitive) and press “OK”.
5. Press “Yes” to continue.
6. Your Student Card is now associated with your user account.
7. To logoff, you may tap your Student Card on the sensor again or press the Logout button in the top-right corner.
8. The next time you want to access the printer, you only need to tap your Student Card on the sensor and it’ll automatically login for you.
