1st ANNUAL OJIBWE LANGUAGE IMMERSION CAMP KTEI, UCCM and the OCF, partnered to host the 1st Annual Ojibwe Language Immersion camp – "Anishinaabe Pane" on August 5th – 7th, 2009. Approximately 20-30 participants learned, listened, and laughed with the instructors, Nancy Debassige, Pearl Waindebence, Kate Roy and Evelyn Roy.
The full days included an opening prayer, greetings, basic everyday language, hand drumming, songs, games, skits, role-playing, storytelling, teachings, arts and crafts, food preparation and medicine walks. In attendance were youth, families and adults whom were interested in learning the Ojibwe language.

The 2nd Annual Ojibwe Language Immersion Camp was held on August 3rd & 4th, 2011, right after August civic holiday. The host community in 2011 was in beautiful Whitefish River First Nation, near Dreamer's Rock. Approximately 15 - 20 participants learned, listened, and laughed with instructors, Nancy Debassige, Georgina Nahwegahbo, and Kate Roy.
