Launching in November 2025, the Waawaaskonenh Foundation will nurture opportunities that strengthen Anishinaabe education, language, and culture for generations to come. Guided by the meaning of its name, “Waawaaskonenh” — flower — the Foundation supports initiatives that help learners, families, and communities flourish.

Through community partnerships, donations, and investments, the Foundation provides resources that advance lifelong learning, preserve Anishinaabemowin, and celebrate Anishinaabe knowledge and ways of being. Every contribution to the Waawaaskonenh Foundation helps open new pathways for Indigenous learners and ensures a thriving future rooted in Anishinaabe identity and self-determination.
