About the Program:
Kenjgewin Teg is an accredited CWB testing center, allowing students to train and become certified in their home communities. Through hands-on instruction, students develop practical skills in fillet and groove welds, flat and horizontal positions, and—depending on ability—vertical and overhead techniques. Experienced instructors guide learners toward CWB certification in SMAW and GMAW, preparing them for careers in fabrication, mining, construction, and potential trade apprenticeships.

Admission Requirements:
Participants can enroll in the courses if they are 18 years of age (or older) or, if they have earned an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent), or pass our standard application and questionnaire required for acceptance.

Tuition Fees/Costs:
$3,670.00 – Includes Welder Kits and Jackets

Supplies Required:

  • Work Boots (CSA Approved, Steel Toe)
  • Appropriate work/job site clothing
