About the Program:
The bridging program offers an opportunity for practicing Personal Support Workers (PSW) who have graduated from a PSW program at a private or community college to pursue the full-time Practical Nursing diploma at Kenjgewin Teg/Cambrian College (not transferable to the Practical Nursing Programs of other Ontario Colleges).

This bridging program comprises seven courses and could be completed in as little as one semester. Upon successful completion of the outlined online pathway courses, students will be eligible to apply for advanced entry into the second semester of Kenjgewin Teg/Cambrian’s Practical Nursing program.

Admission Requirements:

  • Completion of a recognized Ontario PSW Certificate
  • A minimum average of 65% in all PSW certificate courses
  • Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident Status

Tuition Fees/Costs:
$3,059 plus textbooks

To successfully access courses & course content, students must have access to the following technology:

  • Regular access to a computer with a reliable Internet connection
  • Webcam and headset
  • Windows 8, 8.1, or 10 operating system
  • Web browser: Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer 10 or higher
